Certification Commission Expands Re-certification Options
There are now three options for re-certification:
- One may submit 20 images and a record of 10 education units.
- One may submit a record of 25 education units accrued over five years and not submit images.
- Or one may choose to re-take the examination and not submit images.
These options are only available for the re-certification process. They are not open to photographers seeking to become certified.
All certified professional photographers are required to re-certify every five years. Certification is a consumer credential and members are required to demonstrate that they continue to grow as professionals either through continuing education or by submitting images for review.
