(Step 1)
Exam and Education Registration: To register for education/exam you must register at least three weeks prior to the date education begins. To register for just the exam you must at least five business days prior to the date on which you wish to take the written exam. If you fail to register you will not be able to take the exam. The application is valid for two years. Please call 888-772-2780 to register.

Payments

Payments will appear as PPA.com on your credit card statement.

• For Education Sessions, a 50% deposit is required to hold a space, the balance is then due 60 days before the class.

(Step 2)

We strongly suggest attendees attend the education that is provided, although it is not required. Attendees must pass all three modules/sections along with the image submission with two years to become certified as an evidence photographer. If you do not complete the program during this two year period you will need to re-apply and start the program over.

Test specifications are divided into three modules. (See test specification) Each module will include (1.5) days of education followed by a test on the afternoon of the second day.

• Attendees should bring a laptop as learning material will be provided on CD.

(Step 3)
Online Image Submission: Testing must be complete before the image submission process. Once you have successfully completed the exam you will be e-mailed information on submitting images.  Submit your images for review in accordance with the rules outlined in the image submission guidelines. Read how images are scored here.

The Photographic Information Sheet must accompany each image submitted on CD and online.

Education/Testing

• $495 per module (3 modules total)
• $1,285 complete education and testing package
  • Application fee ($300 value) is waved

  • Application for education and testing is good for two years
• $695 Testing (no education)
  • No additional fee for image submission

Cancellations & Refunds

• A $50 administration fee will be charged for cancellations received 60 days before the education/testing.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 60 days of education/testing.
• A $35 service fee will be charged for returned checks.
